Step 1: Initial Meeting
Once our team has received your inquiry, we will set up either an in-person meeting or via ZOOM. During this initial meeting, you will tell our build team what the vision for your new home is. Based on this information, we will give you our skilled response on how we can construct your new home. If you decide to move forward, we will send you a design contract that is around 10% of the overall price of the home. Once this contract is signed and the deposit is made, that is when the fun begins!
Step 2: Schematic Revisions
Next, we will begin the schematic plan review. At this point, our in-house architect will design a rough draft floorplan based on what was discussed in the initial meeting. The floor plans will be sent to you for your review. We recommend having another in-person/ZOOOM meeting to discuss any needed revisions so that our team is working with the most accurate information. You are allotted up to four revisions per the design contract and once we have finalized the perfect floorplan for you, it is time for our building team to get to work!
Step 3: Specs & Selections…Move-in!
While our team is hard at work building your dream home, our in-house designer, Lindsay Cerilli, will contact you and take you through the specs and selection process. This process includes choosing cabinets, counters, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, etc. We will be in close contact with you throughout this entire home-building process. From designing plans to sending you the most up-to-date pictures of your new home, and guiding you through the design process. Once your design selections are finalized, our team will get everything installed and ensure your home is ready for delivery! We will meet you at your new home for a final walkthrough, discuss warranty, and finally, hand over the keys to your new Kenwood Home!
